Need To Stop Clopy Process Manually
Hi Dave
Got another dilemma , (actually the same dilemma as before). I'm still trying to work the bugs out of this SeriTek/2ME4-E 4 port PCIe card in my Mac Dual Core with 10.4.11. It seems I can't complete a clone process successfully without having to stop Super Duper manually. Even with the warning prompt 'It will be left in an unknown state'. What I've done, (thru testing), is to manually stop the process, (it seems to always hang near the end). Then start it up again with the remainder of what's left to copy, and it finally completes itself. Of course during the copy process I always use 'SMART Update', which should erase/delete any uncompleted files and finish the process. Is this a good idea? If I'm to keep this darn card, it seems that's the only thing that will work. OR Perhaps I should finally scrap the card for a totally different one. Thank You Happy Thanksgiving Mike |
