2.5 is fully compatible with Leopard, and produces fully bootable backups of the newest version of OS X. You can keep this on its own volume, or you can even store and Smart Update it alongside your Time Machine backups. We even let you copy your Time Machine backups to other disks, so you can back them up or upgrade to a larger disk without losing your history!

But we didn't stop with Leopard-specific features. 2.5 is still compatible with Tiger, and adds new features for everyone, including the ability to run a scheduled copy manually, preservation of spotlight indexes (and indexing status) on the destination, retention of the destination volume's special icon (if present), and many other tweaks. Of course, it still includes Smart Update, a great feature that updates a clone to exactly reflect any changes on the original in just minutes!
