Backup Stalls
I have been using SuperDuper! successfully with my Mac desktop for years.
I tried to use SuperDuper! to backup a Mac laptop but the program gets to a point where it never writes any additional files. I select the Backup all files option, and specify the backup drive to be an external hard drive connected to the Mac on a USB2 port. The backup proceeds to write approximately 10,000 files (the actual number varies each time a try a backup), but then it never proceeds in the backup any further. No indication is given by my Mac or SuperDuper! that a problem exists. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. |
