I can't email SuperDuper, and I need instructions
Hi there,
my computer is dead. Thankfully, I backed up with this product. However, nowhere on the website am I able to find instructions on what to do when I have both a new computer & my backup drive in hand. I remember seeing the instructions in the program when I used it on my computer, but now my computer is, like I said, dead. Also, I cannot find the contact email address to ask this question to Shirt Pocket customer support. I can click on the "Support" link, but then it just directs me to send an email via a Mac mail account— which, on a public or borrowed computer, is very useless insofar as it's quite impossible. It would be very helpful if Shirt Pocket's customer support could have 1) instructions on how to rise from the dead after a disaster and 2) their customer support email address visible on the website. To anyone who has even been in the netherworld of having a dead computer and awaiting a new one, while looking at a little box with a FireWire port that apparently contains 10 years of your life on it that you are unsure of how to access— I'm sure you can understand my high stress level right now. Thanks, -A |
