No need to send this into support and the forums, Robert.
Here's what I replied to your email: You should partition the drive into two volumes, one for each source. Make sure the partition scheme (the "Options" Button in the partition tab of DIsk Utility) is appropriate for your Mac type. Then, direct each source to its appropriate destination. Hope that helps!
