I am currently backing up (copying) all my music and picture files in my Mac Pro to a Maxtor external harddrive. I have it formatted as NFS+. I want to reformat the drive as NTFS and recopy everything so I can read the files under Windows XP.

Can Superduper! support this? Or am I stuck with the NFS+ format with SuperDuper!?

We do not support NTFS (and OSX cannot natively write to NTFS drives).

I have NTFS for Mac OSX installed hoping I can read and write to NTFS. Too bad SuperDuper! doesn't support it. Thanks for the quick reply. I guess I'll be sticking to the NFS+ format or find another backup solution.

There's a lot of additional metadata and other things involved with NTFS, and supporting a non-native FS like that just doesn't seem like a wise use of our limited resources.

However, if you install PC/Mac Drive (from Mediafour) on your PC, you should be able to read and write HFS+ on your PC.
