Help! Backup emergency
My macbook pro got soaked, roof leak during horrible storm flooded the Mac. I just got superduper last week (yea, I think) and my insurance company is going to replace the computer which is in bad shape. I am replacing it with a new mac that has lepard on it.
Can i restore from my external usb drive to leopard? or what is the best way to get my programs and data off my usb drive on to my new Mac? Jim |

Leopard will prompt you to "copy from another Mac" when you first start it up. You might be able to point that to your USB drive. If not, it'll also offer up the option of copying from "another partition" -- you should be able to select your drive there. It'll copy in your applications and user data.
