Multiple Volumes - Single Click?
Hi
I've searched for this but haven't found an good answer. Apologies if I've missed it - if so can someone point me toward the thread! I do an intermittent backup of two volumes onto an external 1TB firewire drive. Each volume to be backed up has its own partition on the external drive, and all works well when the jobs are run separately. What I want to be able to do is set it up so that I can set SuperDuper! going and get it to back up both volumes to their respective partitions sequentially - i.e start the process and go to bed to wake up with both volumes cloned! Does anyone know how to do this? Automator? A script? Someone? Anyone...? |

Schedule both backups for some time when they're not normally going to be able to run. Then open Scheduled Copies, click "Copy Now" for each of the two copies. Yes, that's four clicks, but they'll run back to back.

Nice one
Worked perfectly - thanks for that. I now have my 1TB offsite backup working a treat - bring drive home from work, plug in, 4 clicks , unplug, take back to work. Brilliant!
Thanks. |
