Can I schedule extra backups?
I have SuperDuper set so that every morning my computer turns on and SuperDuper backs up my internal HD to an external. Works like a charm!
Then once a week I take a second external that I store offsite and back up external one to external two. It is little more complicated because I have two partitions on each external but you get the idea. I wonder if I can schedule SuperDuper to do the Sunday morning external to external back up as well as the daily internal to external? Unlike my daily I have to remember and go get the destination drive so I'm not always ready with both drives at a specific time. Can I schedule a second (weekly) backup in addition to my daily? And if I set a time and the drives aren't ready will it run when I get around to plugging them in? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks |

No, the backups don't really delay until you attach the drive. But, if you combine the One Touch Button FAQ entry on this site with Do Something When (available from VersionTracker), you can get a backup to occur when you attach a drive...
