The /dev folder is relatively normal and expected, 'atrain' -- don't delete it! (It's an important system file that isn't returning that it's 'hidden' when we ask, but should be hidden when you start up from the drive.)
Also, smaller isn't a problem: there are temporary files and swap files that don't get copied (and have no real meaning across a restart). Hope that helps.
