2 Powerbooks to 2 partitions on one drive
Hello,
I want to back up both my powerbooks to a single external drive. The drive is a bootable FW drive large enough to hold all of the data and I am willing to partition the drive. Are there any drawbacks? I have inferred (but I am uncertain and haven't tested it) that only one of the partitions on the external drive will be bootable. If only 1 partition is bootable, is it easy enough to boot from partition 1 and restore partition 2 to a powerbook. Thanks for your help |

No, no drawbacks, other than having to connect it to each machine when you want to back up, and both partitions will be bootable...

Thanks
And great response time on the reply. I don't know if I need the advanced features or not, but if I end up using the app, I will definitely pay the reg fee. I've paid more for apps, but have never received a forum reply in the first two minutes.
