Need to recover a backed up iPhoto library
I have had an iPhoto library crash and burn, luckily I backed it up to ext. HD just before I started messing with it. I just want to delete the old one, and copy the backed up one across. Stupid question, but do i just drag and drop it from backup disk to location on main machine? I can't believe it's that simple so am checking with you guys.
I have iPhoto library manager but don't ask me to rebuild using that as it takes forever and then it is missing about 500 pictures. Help mucho appreciated. Kathykate |

Yes, you can do that, Kathykate. Just copy it from the backup back to the same location on the internal. It's that simple.
You may want to RENAME, vs. delete, the library on the source before doing so. That way, if something goes wrong, you'll still have the "bad" one.
