SD Appears to freeze on large file copies
SD appears to freeze when copying very large files (e.g. my 14 gig Parallels drive image). I finally figured out it was not in fact frozen by using the 'sudo lsof | grep SDCopy' terminal trick.

Reminder or auto-dismount DMGs?
As I understand it, copying a DMG file that is mounted (and writeable) is a bad idea, as you can get a corrupted filesystem for that dmg.
