Really basic question

I have a IMac G5 PPC X4.11 that had some problems not restarting/shutting down etc. Disk Warrior was completely useless. An archive and Install fixed it to a degree, but in the process I found I have another problem that DW cannot even detect - but Drive Genius can.

Repair failed: Invalid Catalog Btree Depth Info 4,1

So i have a perfectly fine Firewire SD bootable backup, from which I can run SD again. (Oddly, when I scan *that* drive with Drive Genius, it does not see the above error!)

Here's the question though - the manual talks about "Restore". Guess what - the IS NO restore button/function! I'll go out on a limb and guess that one simply uses COPY from the booted backup, back to the mounted internal Mac HD...? (Wiping clean the internal) Although at that point then there is a statement in the dialog that says "system-specific files" will be excluded. Is that problematic?

Maybe that's more than one question, but hopefully my guess is correct...just looking for some kind of assurances before I destroy my internal drive. LOL

Thanks!
