Only one scheduled backup, but 2 occurr

I currently have a backup scheduled every night at 11:30, I use growl to send me an e-mail notification.

however, each night 2 backups occurr, one is successful, the other fails to find the destination drive and I get a failure e-mail. I cannot figure out how to remove the second backup attempt when I only see one in the scheduled backup list.

has anyone else experienced phantom backups?

Also, it seems like SuperDuper! doesn't quit like it should every time. It should quit after each backup, but sometimes I need to go in and quit manually. Often times this requires a FORCE quit. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Mike

Hi, Mike. I don't know why you'd have phantom backups, but try deleting all your copies and then run the following in Terminal:

Code:
crontab -r
That should take care of it.

The "force quit" sound like the destination volume wasn't there when the schedule fired. Try pressing Cmd-s before quitting.
