Hi - sorry for the delay and a bit more info now -
I was trying to copy the Macintosh HD (56Gig capacity) to Partition 1 of my external USB HDD (Partition Capacity 57gig) via the copy to .dmg option (the only one available). The copy proceeds quickly at first then stops on the 'copying music' folder. The HDD still sounds as if its working (after 8 hours) but nothing further happens. I can copy (drag and drop) 50gig to this external partition without any problems. Had to force remove the HDD and have included the entire SuperDooper log log. Hope this helps - has all my attempts to copy on it (i think). J.
