*kudos to super duper!*
Dave, I've been an ardent Mac user since 1986 and since that time I've had to run the obstacle course of transitioning from old Mac to new Mac. But never has it been easier than SuperDuper made it yesterday.
I mounted my (new) G5 as a target disk on my G4, started an overnight 250 MB backup (clone) with two simple clicks, in the morning switched the cables from old Mac to 'new', and for the first time ever went from old Mac to new without a single solitary hitch...print, email, app prefs, web, everything. That's just unreal. |
