Upgrading to new MBP, can I use a backup to copy all?

I currently use superduper to backup everyday.

On order is a new macbook pro (I currently have a macbook pro also. )

Can I just restore from a current backup from my external drive to the NEW macbook and be good?

thanks

I wouldn't, no. When you first stsart the new MacBook Pro, it'll ask you if you want to 'copy from another Mac'. Point that at either the backup or the old Mac.
