Revert to Earlier Backup Version?

Is there a way to revert to an earlier backup version? I unhooked the backup drive temporarily and changed some files on it and when I hooked it back up to my drive SuperDuper overwrote the changed files. Any way to get them back?

You can try to use something like "Data Rescue II" to recover older versions... but we don't retain old files.
