exempt folders from synchronizing routine (scripts?)
Hello
I need a backup / synchronizing (mirroring) tool that allows me to exempt certain folders from the synchronizing routine; these folders aren't all on top level. Is this something a script should do? None of the default scripts stored in the 'copy scripts' folder seems to fit. Would I need a single script for each folder to exempt? And where would I find such extra script? Or is there another way for this? Any help will be greatly appreciated. nfr |

This is pretty thoroughly covered in the User's Guide, "nfr" -- see the chapter called "Excluding files and folders from a backup" for the technique to use.
