Hi
Is it possible with SD to backup only one folder? If it is, can someone pleace tell me how? |

It is possible, but SuperDuper! is not the right tool for making backups of single folders or selections of files. SD! is for making backups, (bootable) clones, of entire volumes. Even when you would setup SD! to copy only one folder, it would scan all files on the disk while doing so.

RonaldPR is right: while we can do this (you can email me at support for the steps), we're not the best tool do use for this purpose, since we're really designed to copy volumes, not folders.

What is the best tool for backing up just one folder? Can anyone make a recommendation? Ideally I'd like to use SuperDuper! to make a bootable backup of my main hard drive, and then another app to make folder-to-folder backups via sets (a la SilverKeeper). I'd like to keep using SilverKeeper but it's not compatible with Leopard.
