Extra Space

I made a full backup of my iMac's ITB drive last night. After the copy was complete, I checked the back up drive (1TB as well) and noticed that there was 500GB free, but there is only about 4-5GB free on the main iMac drive.

I spot checked on the backup drive and everything is there, I'm just confused as to why there is so much space available.

Send the log to me using the "Send to shirt pocket" button and I'll look at it in as much depth as I can. Make sure to use "Error during copy" as the issue type.
