SD! not mounting sparseImage

| 12:27:34 AM | Error | load_hdi: IOHDIXControllerArrivalCallback: timed out waiting for IOKit to finish matching. It looks like it's timing out. SD fails to mount the sparse image file. However, if I mount the image manually by clicking on it in Finder, it mounts. Then I run SD and everything works. The sparse image file is about 54 gigs. It takes less than 15 seconds to load. I power cycled the LaCie 500 Gig FW drive and ran the above tests again. Same results. Any ideas?
