SD does not run as scheduled
I have SuperDuper! scheduled to run every night at 2300.
It has not run since last Saturday. I think the problem has to do with the iPhone app: Remote. It lets you control iTunes. But, I am not sure if this the problem. Most every night, we retire to the bedroom and launch Remote on the iPhone to play music from the iTunes library via AirTunes. When we are done listening to music (usually around 2130), we use Remote to turn off the music. So, am I preventing SD from running?

Not unless the Mac goes to sleep.

I am confused by your answer.
Are you saying that if Remote puts the Mac into sleep, then SD will NOT run? I thought that SD woke up the Mac at the scheduled time.

That's right. We do not wake the Mac: you set the wake event for one minute before the scheduled backup time using the Energy Saver preference pane, as explained in the User's Guide.

Right you are.
Sometimes I just try to think about too many things and have a brain fart. Thanks.
