help merging multiple partitions...please
A while back I set up one of my G5s with multiple partitions, which turns out not to be a great idea with osx.
how can I best use superduper to merge them. My backups are on network drives if I
does that work? what will I lose? Is there a better way? |

You can try (and you'll still have the backups, of course, if something goes wrong)...

I am trying to avoid having to reenter passwords for all of my apps, but they are not on my system partition...do you have any advice as to best practices for this type of procedure? |

Your apps were installed on a different partition? I can't guarantee this is all going to go back together smoothly... But, as I said, you can try.
