Newbie Question- software doesn't work, get error

Hi-

I am unable to do a simple back-up. I have tried 2x and it runs for less than 30 seconds before I get an error (see below). I am very frustrated as my computer is not strating up off the HD and I am already usind one firewire drive. I bought a new drive so I could start over, but can't seem to get anywhere.
If anyone is particularly good at this and wants to offer some over the phone assistance, that would be great 212-979-1277.
Thanks
