Need help with understanding SD backup modes
Hi,
I just installed Super Duper onto my MacPro and was about to do a BU when I realized that there were a number of different backup modes. What is the difference between the 2 Sandbox modes and how are they better or worse than "Backup All Files"? I am backing up to a laCie 300GB FW 800 External. I am planning to also use this backup as a bootable drive from which I can run DiskWarrior if I ever need it. Thanks. |

Generally, and importantly, a Sandbox is not a backup. If you're trying to back up, use "Backup - all files".

What are the sandbox options and what are they for ?
What are the sandbox options and what are they for? How do they differ from backup all files?

Take a look over the User's Guide (Help > User's Guide). It has a chapter thy talks about the sandbox, and it'll save me from having to type of all again.
