new drive for new mac

Hi Dave

Im putting in a new G5 2ghz power pc, and will be purchasing either a:

160gb Seagate Barracuda SATA hard disk

or a

SATA Hitachi Deskstar 160gb, 7K250, 7.2K, 8.5ms, SATA2

as a second drive, would you no wheather or not if either these drives play nicley with SD?, or one in particular?.
