Copy from target disk to external drive

I want to back up a Mac Mini in target disk mode to an external hard drive that is connected to a PowerBook. How do I go about it?

Hi, "sculler". I've responded to your email, but the basic steps are to simply attach both the Mini and the drive through firewire, and use Backup - all files to copy from one to the other. As long as both devices are stable when connected together to the computer, it should work as expected.
