MacHelp I/O exception(14): Bad address
I'm trying to upgrade the hard drive in my girlfriends PowerBook Titanium by doing a full copy to the new Western Digital hard drive in a Macally firewire enclosure. SuperDuper starts the copy and runs for a couple of hours, with the result being an error. Also, I notice that the numbers in "XXX of XXX files evaluated" do not match. Does this mean that SuperDuper hit this error, and stopped everything? If so, how can I get past this error? Here's the the section in the log with the error:

The xx/xx files not matching is fine and expected.
It's hard to say what the other issue is, although the Macally enclosure -- from what I've seen in the past -- doesn't use an Oxford FireWire chip. What I'd suggest is following the diagnostic steps in the Troubleshooting section of the User's Guide. "Bad address" could indicate problem with the source or destination, so it's important to determine which. (And sometimes a restart of both the system and the drive can work wonders.)
