smart update runs out of space
I am backing up a disk that is mostly full onto another disk of the same size. Let's say there's only 1G free, and I have a 2G file. After backing up, I delete the 2G file and add another 2G file and try to back up again. In situations like this, smart update sometimes fails, because it might try to copy the new file before deleting the old one.
Perhaps instead, if smart update ever fails to copy a file because it is out of room, it should add that file to a list and keep going, and once big files are deleted go back and try to copy them again? |
