Backup internal HD + External HD
I have a Mac Book Pro laptop (intel).
I will be keeping photograhs on the laptop internal and external (lacie, USB). I'll call it my "external data HD" for ease of reference. I will be buying a new Lacie Firewire 800 External HD. I'll call it my "external backup HD" for ease of reference. I want to: - maintain a backup of the entire "internal HD" (Bootable) - maintain a backup of the entire "external data HD" With super duper can I set things up so that: - the "internal HD" will be backed up automatically whenever I plug my "external backup HD" into the laptop". - the "external data HD" will be backed up automatically whenever I plug the "external data HD" into the laptop (external backup HD already plugged in). In practical terms I normally work from the pics that are stored on my internal but from time to time work on the pics on my "external data HD" so I only need to use it from time to time. I want to automate so I don't make and old guy mistake and backup the wrong hardrive. Any sugge |
