Cannot get SD to backup up a Networked External Drive attached to my Time Capsule
Hello everyone.
From everything I've read SD is the backup application I should be using. So I've downloaded the initial Free version to try it out. However, I can't seem to figure out how to set up SD to do the one crucial thing I want, which is to make a backup of an External Drive which is attached to my Time Capsule and is a mounted network drive. Of course, I could attach the drive to my MacBook Air, but the beauty of this machine is its portability - and my wife loves using it around the house and does not want to be bothered with switching the cables from the Time Capsule to the MacBook Air. Is there a way to set up SD to backup a Network Volume in this way? Or is this capability only enabled in the full version - if it is I'll gladly pay the full version price. Many thanks to all |
