Yup
My original disk was 60GB, the FW backup is a 150 partitioned into two 75's and my new one is a 300GB.
Why would that matter? Would partitioning help? Also, I noticed that Disk Utility said that my external FW drive was an IBM filesystem, while the two partitions were MacOs. Could that be why I cannot boot from it? should I erase the whole thing and start over?
