Migration

I've asked this question before but am still not sure how to proceed.

I just purchased a refurb PowerBook with 10.3.3 and would like to transfer everything to it from my Desktop G4 running 10.3.9.

Can SuperDuper do this without mucking up the PowerBook features such as battery management that aren't installed on the desktop Mac?

I understand using the FireWire target disk mode, but I just want to make sure how to proceed.

Thanks again for your patient help I'm sorry to be a PITA.
