Tryed to boot from the backup (user/password)
When i boot into my backup on my firewiredisk - i have to login as user and with password. But my normal installation runs into the desktop - without password. And my username and password was not accepted on the bootdisk

OK, Morten. We've seen this with a corrupted Netinfo database. Could you send the system log from the backup to Support?
To get it, you need to use the "Go To Folder" command, and navigate to: /Volumes/your-backup-volume/private/var/log You'll find the system log in there. Send that to me as an attachment to a support message. Thanks.

To get it, you need to use the "Go To Folder" command, and navigate to: But not the ---- /Volumes/your-backup-volume/private/var/log Because i have no privat folder ( or can not see one ) My tiger disk is called Macintosh HD and the backup disk is OSX backup Is it under volumes/osx backup/...... |
