Wake from Sleep

Will the new schedule feature wake up my PowerMac from sleep and perform a scheduled back up?
Thanks for a great program.

No: see the User's Guide for the technique to use for waking...

What's a "Wake Event" ?

The user's guide says
Quote:
Usage tip If your Macintosh is asleep when the time comes to run the backup, SuperDuper!’s scheduling won’t wake it up, so the backup won’t run. The way to handle this is to use the Energy Saver Preference Pane in System Preferences to schedule a wake event for a minute or so before the backup is scheduled to run.
but on my system (Panther) there's only the possibility to "Start" the system (as opposed to "Wake" it). I am referring to the "Schedule" tab in the Energy Saver control panel.

Is this the same as "Wake" perhaps ?

Sincerely, Martin.

Sounds like the same, Martin -- mine says "Start up or wake"...
