Automate sparseimage compacting

Thanks to this forum, I learned how to manually compact my sparseimages through the hdiutil compact command in terminal.

What I would like to do is this:
1) create a script that will open terminal services and run the hdiutil compact command
2) have the above run every 2 weeks at a specific time.

I figured instead of guessing and trial/error, I would ask the forum members. I believe someone must have the same need and has already done this.

BTW: the O/S I would be using is Tiger.
