Yes... OK... so I'd have to make a safety clone of my Panther 10.3.9 install and upgrade that clone to Tiger? I acquired my PB at a time when Tiger was just coming out so I was entitled to an upgrade disk which will allow me an archive and install but Panther must be present in order to use it.
I see that the safety clone procedure is covered quite well in SuperDuper!'s manual so I'll read that to make sure I've got it all straight. Just one question probably pretty obvious but what to be sure... which setting would be best: Safety Clone - Shared users and applications or Safety Clone - Shared users Re-installing 3rd party apps on the clone is not an issue to me... I don't mind doing that if one way is preferrable to the other so as to make sure there's no chance of corrupting anything on the full Panther install. Thanks for the quick reply! |
