hello, While using super duper I noticed that while the backup is mounted, spotlight indexes it, so while it was mounted I added the superduper backup to the "excluded from spotlight index" list in system prefernces>spotlight. Is this ok? should I have not added it to the exclusion list? or does this not matter? I ask because from what I understand indexing uses hard-disk space, so I figured the less I have to index the the more harddrive space I can save.
I just wanted to make sure by excluding the superduper backup from spotlight indexing, it wont create problems of some kind. Any information would be appreciated. Thank You ![]() |
