Type 8 error

I am backing up my boot drive to an SSD for the first time, and things were going swimmingly, until it coughed up an error like this:

| 06:30:42 PM | Error | SDCopy: utimes /Volumes/Monokaryon SSD 60/private/tftpboot: Input/output error\n: Input/output error

Or this:

| 06:33:39 PM | Error | SDCopy: utimes /Volumes/Monokaryon SSD 60/private/tftpboot: Input/output error\n: Input/output error
| 06:33:39 PM | Error | ****FAILED****: result=1280 errno=22 (Unknown error: 0)

This type of error occurs as soon as I try to continue the update after the failure.

The drive is still accessible, and has more than 40g of free space remaining. I'm only copying non-media items, so it shouldn't be anywhere near out of space yet anyway.

Never seen this error before. Any ideas?

Thanks
aj
