Will SuperDuper backup when computer is in sleep mode?
The title contains all I wanted to ask.

Hi, mjsc. As indicated in the User's Guide section on scheduling, we won't. But, if you set a "wake" event with the Energy Saver Preference Pane for one minute before the backup time, that'll wake the computer and allow us to run.
Hope that helps.

And SD! will put the computer back to sleep after the run is finished - click on "options", then choose the sleep option from the "on successful completion" drop down menu.

(Or, of course, just let the computer go to sleep "naturally"... :-))

Can't (won't). I have set Energy Saver for "never sleep", so the HDs aren't winding up and down several times a day. Only sleep the display until day's end, then sleep the iMac via SD! after backups are done.
