Failure to schedule automatic copy

I recently repartitioned my external hard drive deleting two partitions, let's call them Fred and Fred Mirror. Then I created a new partition again called Fred but having double the space because the previous Fred Mirror real estate is now included in the new Fred. Then I did a copy now SD backup of my internal hard drive to the new Fred. No problem.

However, when I try to schedule a backup of my internal hard drive to Fred (as opposed to doing copy now), I get the following error message:
Failure to schedule automatic copy.
An error occurred while trying to schedule the copy
for automatic execution. If you modified the
AppleScript, please ensure that the script syntax is
correct and try again.
How can I correct this? I didn't make any changes to any script.
