3 Failures on initial backup - What's going wrong?
I have a 12" powerbook running 10.3.5 - I've got SuperDuper! and am trying to "Backup - All Files" to a Lacie 250 GB external drive (USB). I've tried three times and each time the copy either fails officially, or I turn it off after it sticking for 10 hours on a particular file. (sorry, I didn't copy the exact error messages)
Failure 1: SuperDuper! hung on my enormous trash file. Emptied the trash Failure 2: Official failure on the users. file. I repaired permissions. Failure 3: SuperDuper! hung on my music file (which isn't particularly problematic, so I don't know what the problem might be). ![]() Any help would be appreciated. this is an unregistered copy. Will get registration once this works the first time! ![]() Thanks, Megan |
