Cool Previous System 1

I noticed after smart backing up my HD, there is something called Previous systems1 in my Powerbook HD. !! it has a size of 2.2 GB !
what is it.? what does it do.? can it be deleted.?

Any thoughts.?

Hi, Axxll -- this is nothing new, it was created when you used "archive and install" previously with the OSX installer. We just copied it!

Basically, that's the "archive" part of the "archive and install". The OSX installer puts the old operating system in this folder. You can safely delete it!

previous System

I found two : "previous system" & "Previous system1" i deleted both.

I hope i did the right thing.

Yes, you'll find a parent folder called "Previous Systems" and then different archives in there depending on the number of times you've archived and installed. The first will be "Previous Systems 1", the 2nd "Previous Systems 2", etc.
