New SD Version Installation Problems

Hi,

In 2008 I purchased and used SuperDuper (xxxx) to clone my old hard drive and install onto a new iMac. Now I have purchased a new iMac and wish to use SuperDuper as a second backup to TimeMachine. I used TimeMachine to restore everything (Migration Assistant) to my new iMac. I found that SuperDuper was no longer in the Apps but resided on the TimeMachine volume. When I downloaded the new version of SuperDuper , I found that the old version now resided on TimeMachine and the iMac would not let me install the new version in place of the old version. I tried deleting the SuperDuper files from the TimeMachine volume but have not been able to delete all. When I grag the .dmg file to Apps a volume appears on the desktop. But when I click on it, nothing is there. What do I do now?
