Best way to backup 2 hard drives
I have 1 250gb Macintosh hd (contains osx, applications, image files, etc), 1 320gb baracuda w/images only, 1 external Western Digi My Book 500gb for backup. I want to backup both internal drives to the backup. I have read all the posts, but am not sure the best way to do this.
![]() From what I understand, my options are: 1- partion the ext hd, and schedule a full (all files clone) backup of the mac hd, then schedule (at another time) another full backup of the baracuda, each to separate partitions on the ext hd. 2- schedule the mac hd (copy all files) to the ext hd, and then schedule for the "same time", a copy "files only" of the baracuda to the ext hd, without a partition. 3- Is there another way? Or is #1 or #2 , the best way? Thanks, Ted |
