DiskWarrior and SuperDuper
I'm planning to buy DiskWarrior, and I thought it'd be good to have a copy on my laptop so I could repair on the road. But if I'm booting from a safety clone, I guess that might not be necessary. Since if I have a problem, I would just boot from my HD and erase the safety clone anyway, right?
I don't really know much about it, would it be a good strategy to use DiskWarrior to repair both disks periodically? I had a hard drive die on me before (that was before I found SuperDuper), so I'm trying to do everything I can. Great product, by the way! |

That's generally right, but there's nothing that might prevent your other drive from going wacky, too, Aka... although I don't use things like DiskWarrior proactively, having a copy around to fix things you notice is a good idea.
