SD: Continue working while SD does Backup?
i just switched from windows to mac (finally!), so i'm a total newbie to mac: forgive me for asking a question influenced by (very) bad windows-experience that might not be an issue on mac at all:
-> can i keep working on my mac while SuperDuper does a (scheduled) backup? or will that wreak havoc on my backup? -> how does SuperDuper handle files that i'm working on at the time of the backup?
and tnx for the great app! samson Last edited by samson; 02-12-2007 at 11:28 AM. |

In general, light work while backing up is fine. Don't download big files, run VMWare or Parallels, etc.
We copy the files as they are on the drive when we hit them. If a file isn't written when we pass it, we won't copy it until the next backup.
