Backing up a USB thumb drive - possible?
I have a 4GB Sandisk drive. SuperDuper is doing a good job backing up my 3 main drives to my NAS, so I thought why not back up my thumb drive as well.
Well, the thumb drive mounts on my Desktop, is recognized by Disk Utility, but is not recognized in SuperDuper. Am I missing something? Steve |

It's likely not formatted as HFS+ (Mac OS Extended).

I thought that was only a requirement for the drive to which one backs up - not necessarily the drive being backed up.
